Markdown translation
Technical documentation, notes libraries, READMEs — most of it is Markdown. The awkward part is that Markdown is text and structure at once: heading levels, lists, code blocks and links are all expressed in punctuation, and translating the punctuation along with the prose takes the document apart.
Geyi parses the Markdown structure before translating, so heading levels, lists and code blocks stay as they were, and the translation can be exported as Markdown and dropped straight back into place.
How much structure survives
- Heading levels: the relationship between # and ## is kept, so tables of contents still generate.
- Lists and nesting: bullets and indentation levels are preserved.
- Code blocks: treated as code rather than translated as prose.
- Links and image references: addresses are left untouched; only readable text is processed.
How it is billed
Markdown takes the local parsing path at 1,600 characters a page: 8 credits a page on high precision, 2 on standard, with a 10-credit minimum per file. A 20,000-character document is about 13 pages, or roughly 100 credits on high precision.

Code blocks are treated as code rather than prose. Whether comments inside code are processed depends on the content, so scan the output before shipping it.
