Everything Geyi does
This page lists only what is live and usable today, with a link into each tool. Nothing here is a preview or a roadmap item.
Six capabilities are in production: file translation, text translation, format conversion, presentation generation, AI-rate reduction and document extraction. Researchers can also install the Zotero plugin and translate PDFs without leaving their library.
Core features
- File translation (/file-translate): upload a whole document, keep the layout or reflow it, export to Word, PDF, Markdown or EPUB.
- Text translation (/text-translate): instant translation for paragraphs and abstracts, with terminology consistent across a session.
- Format conversion (/format-convert): the common pairings between PDF, Word, EPUB, PPT and Markdown.
- Presentation generation (/paper-to-ppt): turn a paper into an editable PPTX, outline first and then slide by slide.
- AI-rate reduction (/humanize): rework sentence shape and word choice while keeping the meaning, in Chinese or English.
- Document extraction (/document-extraction): pull text out of scans, images and vertical layouts and reflow it horizontally.
Companion tools
The Zotero plugin (/zotero-plugin) translates PDFs from inside your reference library and attaches the result to the original item as a child, sharing one account, credit balance and personal glossary with the web app. It supports Zotero 7 to 9 on Windows, macOS and Linux.
Only what is live is listed here
Every entry links into a working tool. Nothing here is a preview or a roadmap item — an entry you cannot click is just another way of writing “coming soon”.
Frequently asked questions
Which features need a paid plan?
All six core tools are open to registered users. Bilingual output, glossaries, custom prompts, the high PPT tier, the Zotero plugin and OpenAPI access are gated by plan tier; the pricing page has the tier-by-tier comparison.
How is document extraction different from format conversion?
The line is whether the text is still locked inside an image. Scans, photos and old vertically-set books need extraction, because the characters have to be recognised first. Documents that are already digital, where text can be selected and only the extension is wrong, go through format conversion — faster and cheaper in credits.
Does extraction translate as well?
No. It extracts only, and whatever language goes in comes back out. Use file translation when you need a translation.
