Why papers belong on high precision
High precision adds a polishing and drift-checking pass after the first translation: wording and sentence order are reworked paragraph by paragraph, and each passage is verified against the original meaning. Keeping terminology straight
One concept rendered three different ways across a paper is the classic tell of machine translation. The personal glossary in your account is applied automatically, pinning the terms your field insists on, and edits take effect on the next paper.

Frequently asked questions
Do formulas survive?
In layout-preserving mode they stay exactly in place, because only the text layer is replaced. AI reflow rebuilds the layout and treats each formula as a unit, placing it according to the restored reading order.
Should references be translated?
Reference entries are usually more useful left in the original, since citation needs the source bibliographic data. Where you want uniform handling, a glossary can pin the proper nouns that should not be translated.
How do I read it against the original?
Tick bilingual output and you get an extra PDF and Word pair with the two interleaved paragraph by paragraph. Each translated paragraph also carries its source page number.
What does one paper cost?
Per page. A 20-page PDF on layout-preserving and high precision is 4 credits a page, about 80 credits; through AI reflow it is 8 a page, about 160. The estimate appears before you submit.
Can scanned older papers be translated?
